To help provide and sustain high quality education for Haviland area students.

Haviland Education Foundation was established in 2022, by the Haviland USD 474 Board of Education. The foundation is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit designed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. HEF provides additional resources to Haviland USD 474 to enhance curriculum, facilities, and educational programs.

The foundation supports strategies that enourage a positive self-image for students and aids growth in social emotional, physical, and ethical awareness. We also continually assess facility needs. 

Monies contributed to the foundation may be used for scholarships, student learning activities, enrichment programs, career explorations, mentoring and character-building activites, counseling, teacher professional development and further education opportunities to ensure the continuation of quality education for students attending USD 474.
